Kane has come in for criticism at times this season but it's hard to fault his scoring record for Bayern. The England captain has admitted that he's been kept up at night recently by some of his missed chances and needs to be more clinical. Yet his goal against Inter also means that Kane now has 11 in the Champions League this season, and only Barcelona's Raphinha and Dortmund's Serhou Guirassy have managed more in the competition in 2024-25.

Kane was joined on the scoresheet against Inter by Eric Dier. The goal is Dier's first for Bayern since he followed Kane to the club from Tottenham.

WHAT NEXT FOR KANE

Kane and Bayern will continue their hunt for the Bundesliga title on Saturday when they take on struggling Heidenheim, having seen their Champions League dream ended by Inter.
